You don't have to walk this journey alone
Have you been struggling with your mental health? Do memories from the past still feel too close or moments of peace seem out of reach? Maybe you find yourself on edge, restless, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. You might be living with PTSD-difficulty sleeping, trouble concentrating, feeling detached, or carrying emotions that feel to heavy to name.

Maybe you've been carrying the weight of sadness, anxiety or unresolved trauma-feeling like no one truly understands what you are going through.

About
Katherine K. Bannon, MSW, LCSWA
Hi, I’m Katherine K. Bannon, MSW, LCSWA, a licensed clinical social worker associate and the founder of Reflections Psychotherapy & Counseling in Burlington, North Carolina, serving clients throughout Alamance County and surrounding areas. I work with adults who are navigating the lasting effects of trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, eating disorders, the unique challenges of neurodivergence, and OCD, as well as other areas of support. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where healing, safety, and genuine connection can begin to take root.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, somatic healing, and person-centered, humanistic approaches. Together, we focus not just on symptom relief, but on helping you understand your story, reconnect with your strengths, and rediscover hope—even when it feels out of reach.
I discovered my passion for trauma work during my time in hospital social work at the Durham VA Medical Center, where I witnessed the profound courage of individuals reclaiming their lives after trauma. That experience continues to inspire my commitment to helping adults and Veterans find peace within themselves and confidence in their ability to heal.

At Reflections Psychotherapy & Counseling, I believe therapy is a space for reflection, growth, and rediscovery. You don’t have to face your pain alone—healing is possible, and I’m honored to walk beside you every step of the way.
